This is a joke

The first problem is the abbreviated title: "W.I.W.N.W.A...? Taxes", what were you thinking? I know this was supposed to read: "What if we never worried about...? Taxes", but because it was so horrendously long you had to make it into a catchy little abbreviation in order for it to fit the newgrounds title character limit. Why is it the question mark before the taxes? I take it this "W.I.W.N.W.A...?" abbreviation is supposed to be the beginning in some sort of horrible series based on things we shouldn't worry about; like having a brain, but when it's the first episode and you have Taxes right at the end, NO ONE is going to get it. Again, what were you thinking, are you that tuned out?
This is so stupid and pointless it's almost offensive; this is not even worth reviewing. The story is supposed to be a stick version of the SIMS game, living life normally, only without having paying attention to his over paid taxes. You aren't even old enough to understand the concept of taxes, your only experience with them is probably only through the SIMS, so to you it's probably just paper that makes to give your money away for no reason.
How dare you even credit any voice acting in this, the non-existent voices were just you making mumbling noises through your crappy mic and sucking dick. Rina-chans mumbles were fine however, you could tell that she's had years of experience and this is a fine example of her voice acting capabilities. The loud clicking noises whenever anyone moves were just fucking annoying, if I wanted to hear constant loud clicking noises, I would pour a cub of termite's into my ear and let them go at it. Besides all that, the audio was just crap in general, would rather not watch this at all, but if I had to, would have to be muted.
Learn to draw, even if the story was half decent (which it obviously wasn't), was still a horrible animation, even to stick standards. I'm very surprised this even made a 3.00 score, let alone pass judgement. Good luck in your effort to get turd of the week, because this is a piece of shit.

Oh boy

So many desperate swings at bad jokes, this is just painful to watch. This story is just another cliche "there's another girl?!" twist, with the only difference being that it's mixed with a gay video game clash parody thing that just makes me wish this stuff never existed. Also, the girls voices were just so unfitting, not bad of course, but it just made me cringe. At least Egos parts were decent, sounded almost muffled though, you have him tied up in your basement or something?

I guess if you already know you have a front page slot reserved for you, putting in any effort is optional. Have fun knowing the only reason this got a daily award is because you credited egoraptor in it. Please stop making theses.

Copycat!

Without reading your description, I probably would have thought this was just another claw the target demographic in newgrounds, using an easily relatable theme that gets popular just because it's easy to understand (the secret to fame), not making fun of one.

The opening with credits thing looked weird and thrown together, but I'm pretty sure you wanted it look like that for some kindo of statment you were trying to make, so I guess you nailed it. At the end I could tell you were going for a "typical newgrounds fag"; blindly giving perfect scores, quoting and pointing out the obvious joke, but the lines were incomprehensibly fast, and of poor quality with an unfitting voice. That might have been the point you were trying to show; blah blah blah this is so good bull shit, but I think it would have benefited with a more appropriately fitting voice and script for it. The Navi voice was good, but nothing too special.

In the other Zelda target thing, like the guy said, it was a thing for school, it probably just hit a key, not to mention he's already won several awards, meaning his work gets featured regardless (not necessarily front paged 'featured', but put out there views wise) doubt he just wanted to put up a flash with little effort to get popular because he knew it would be easy.

Personally, I didn't like the Zelda target flash, although the style was good, it looked like there wasn't much time or thought put into it and I didn't find it funny or interesting, plus the responses to it bothered me (not to mention that it was front paged and won daily and weekly awards). However, your flash was done much better, the jokes were a hit and miss, but overall enjoyable. Good job and good point.

Yeah, I didn't really put much thought into that bit at the end. I just had the idea of "generic Newgrounds user gives blind praise and ends up getting hit by the stray arrow". Not having much in mind, I didn't wanna bother another voice actor, so I just did it myself. I was just trying to sound like some excited idiot, though that's certainly a voice I don't have experience with (I'm not exactly a voice actor and I just have an average mic), and it probably could've been better and stuff. I sped up intentionally for the part at the end since acknowledging flaws is a sort of side thought that's neglected by nearly everyone when it comes to a movie they enjoy.

Good to see there are people getting this and reviewing it fairly whether they liked it or not... though there are the defensive and the offended, so I guess this message won't reach many more people after tomorrow. Not that I think I'm some godly being, but I think my version's intensity executes the punchline better than the sloppy original and has other improvements. I can't help but wonder how this would've done if I didn't insult Newgrounds users at the end and if people weren't biased, but I guess I don't really care since this got the score I think it deserved.

I don't even know what to say. This is blatantly copying two of the gayest series already on newgrounds; WHOOKOS (Shamefully bad, shitty anime style version of the Weekenders, with gay overtones), and A.E. Chronicles (Literal piece of shit). Hell, you might be able to do a better job then the original ones, seeing how their both horrible abominations.

The only reason I gave this a 1 instead of 0 is because you managed to make something that was already gay even gayer. I can only hope that this is same bad joke from a some little retard. Seeing how this account was made to put this video up, it's easily debatable that your just a troll, so have fun with that, fag.

Low standards makes this garbage edible

Let me start off by saying that I was not "enraged" by finding this on the front page for as long as it was or that it placed 8th in the Pico day entry's. The idea of this, the whole flash in general, is of poor taste, poor quality, and is just gay, not literally, but just really corny and unfunny.

The story in this was original, something I don't even what to go into because it almost leaves me speechless, but probably an idea I would laugh at (in a bad way) if I were to hear it prier to this being made. The only reason I didn't give this a lower score is because I don't want to, it at least shows that you put some time and thought into this, so I find the score appropriately fitting with all it's other components considered.

The animation was tolerable at best, but at the same time I have no right to criticize how it looks because most Pico day submissions were rushed near the end, and it wouldn't be fair to judge your style based on this. But besides that, this is was horrible, difficult to look at and almost embarrassing to watch. I've seen your other stuff, and it's apparent your capable artist, but for this to get any attention outside of the contest would be a joke.

It is still a puzzle to me to why this got any honors, but at least it's good to see some of the more recent reviews reflecting my feeling towards this animation. Regardless of what my opinion is on your flash, congrats on placing 8th for Pico day, and I hope to see better (maybe even decent) work from you in the future.

You actually managed to pop a meme subtlety and take a cliche game parody topic and make it amazing.. why is this even on newgrounds? I was surprised to see how little attention this flash got, you'd think it be a shoe in for a daily award. Your probably one of the most underrated flash artists here in my opinion, probably because your work sorta falls under a category between bestiality and child porn, it might be magic.

All I know is this flash is great and it's a shame this stuff is overlooked.. or maybe that's a good thing.

Probably not going to get out

The story, although intended to be very strange and jumpy was easy to follow, even if it made very little sense, I love going nowhere slowly. The character design was very original and gave it this disturbing feel to it which really worked in this animation. I especially liked your over detailed zoom ins, which is an overly neglected feature in most flash's trying to get that dark & artsy feel, but also essential to get the desired effect this is obviously trying to pull. probably not going to get back

The music is this was very fitting and surprisingly very good. Promoting the audio portal in my option is pretty interesting, it's often an overlooked feature on this site due to the fact that people would rather browse youtube for music. The audio portal is still great resource for music that may work for allot of animations that simply don't just dip into the "Ren and Stimpy soundtrack" to find fitting audio, not that I would ever steer away from old faithful, but works all the same. HEH

Very interesting flash, loved the concept, great music, not really down my ally, but you did a good job all the same. So yeah, I hated it, keep up the good work.

Let me start of by saying that I'm not a huge fan of this series, but all the same, I did not hold this up against the apparent success from the other episodes. So I expected another well animated, entertaining, front page worthy flash of yours. So you could imagine my surprise when this is what I watched. For someone like you that has shown that he has the talent and the ability to make compelling content, I'm sure you must have felt iffy about putting this up.

I started off slow with the chess game beginning, I'm not going to lie, it was actually enjoyably to some degree, might have been a bit stretched, but it kept it on track. However, the scene following that where they end up fighting in the ally is where it stopped for me. Around the point where "Sonic" grabbed the bat, it just started getting boring, almost to the point where it was depressing to watch. Just seemed like another cliche fight scene (epic battle) that was just hard to watch. The punch lines were predictable, and besides that, there was hardly much original script in this at all.
The "There will be blood" scene at the end was.. cute? seemed like it was dragging near the end, and you actually ended up copying it word for word which I thought was in poor taste. I don't really care much for your animation style, but it works, and it didn't factor it it to why I gave this a low score.

Overall, what the hell were you thinking? This is really a step down from your other stuff, and as much as I hate putting things up to a standard, I really found this disappointing. The worst part being is that this is a Mario &Sonic thing, so yeah, it's going to get front page and yeah, it's going to get views. Popularity over Self-respect I suppose, good job.

Where do I even start with this mess? Another attempt at a serious Sonic spite flash pretty much sums it up. Let me begin by saying I didn't judge this by the fact that it's a sprite animation based off of sonic, which is already far from my interest's, but more so the content and the script that just screams cliche, overused and over serious fighting drama.

The story was poorly written, with nothing salvageable about it. It leaves much to be desired in terms of story line and character development. The only redeemable quality about this flash in my opinion is that is is void of any inside jokes or lame references and that the story is in fact original to some degree. I would love to say that this was disappointing, but I went into this with literally no expectation and was treated to as such.

It's one thing when you use sprite animations to convey your story, but when that's accompanied by poorly done voices with literally no "acting" in them, as well as lacking sound effects and sloppy text filled transitions, it just makes look like a rush job with little to no communication between the other members of the crew on how you want the lines to sound or what feeling should go along with them. Seriously, I cringed at the repeating "SHUT UP" line, sounded as if you were just playing the clip over and over, what where you thinking?

The only reason this might get a daily award is because of the publicity that your "popular" unfitting, mediocre "voice actors" will bring it. It's a darn shame this will get some attention, if even just for a day.
